2/21/2024 Other AppearancesIn February, as part of our Black History Month Special: Voices of Virginia, we’re celebrating the richness of Black culture. To mark the occasion, poet and Hollins University Professor T.J. Anderson III joined us to share his poem, "Pretty Boy." Anderson spoke to the power of creating art during Black History Month, emphasizing that Black artists have a responsibility to bear witness, to marvel, and to honor the depth of Black culture.
